There are several great car seats on the market, but how can you tell which ones are better than others? I get asked this question many times, and there are only a few ways to answer it. What I look for are reviews, ratings and features. If someone were to recommend the car seat for your child, then I think it’s pretty good.
The thing to keep in mind is that just because a car seat is expensive doesn’t mean it’s better. In fact, some of the cheapest seats on the market are some of the highest rated! This is especially true for brands like Cosco and Evenflo.

What kind of features are included with this seat?
For starters, this seat has a 5-point harness, sliding harness adjuster, energy-absorbing foam liner, and sure LATCH technology for added security. It was also tested and approved for side impact.
How much is this seat?
The Evenflo Symphony can be yours for around $200. Keep in mind that most convertible seats are between $100 and $300. So you’re right in the middle.
As you can see, there are some great features included with this seat. Most importantly though, this seat is safe and has been known to meet or even exceed US safety standards!
