Yeast infection and birth control to enjoy your sex life

I’ll be answering a question about yeast infections and birth control here. Last year, my friend took Aleese birth control, because she had low estrogen levels. Then after a year she got yeast infections, she had to stop using it. Finally, they left after months of pain. Then she started Minestrogen and after 3 days she came back with horrible yeast infections so she stopped taking it immediately. Fortunately, they stopped. However, she now needs a new contraceptive method recommended, as she doesn’t want to ruin her sex life anymore.

There are more birth control options than most people are aware of. The safest one I know of is called natural family planning (NFP) and it teaches you how to understand your body’s signs of fertility. You can record your menstrual cycle, learn when you’re entering your fertile window, and stop having sex during that time.

After the fertile period, you can have intercourse again until the next month. This is not the same as the “rhythm method”, which assumes that your fertile window will fall in the middle of your cycle. the rhythm method is ineffective because everyone’s cycles are different, and your cycle may be a little irregular from month to month. NFP allows you to accurately diagnose her own fertility at all times.

It’s chemical free, condom free, hormone free, best of all it’s free! It is also 97% effective, which is comparable to a very skilfully used condom. I highly recommend the book “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” by Toni Westchler. She also makes it clear that these methods are best taught face to face in a class or training session.
