Once you have decided that you want a pool dining table in your home, your next concern is how to fit it into the available space in your dining room. Many of the conventional pool dining tables are much more compact and therefore also lightweight. However, you need to make sure that you have a good amount of reference area in the room in which you want to place your pool dining table.
Table tops for pool dining can be attached or detached. The attached tabletops are usually of the swivel type in which they simply rotate to reveal the pool table below. Others are removable, so all you need to do is place them on top of the pool table. You can simply clip it on the respective joints of the table and remove it when you need. Both types of tables are popular.
The swivel type table top gives the appearance that the wood is bound around the frame, which may not look very appealing to the eye. However, there is no noticeable change in how it can affect your gameplay. The traditional turntable table design is usually the most expensive and even heavy to turn. Contemporary designs often incorporate the swivel type. The advantage of the removable top is that it does not give the impression that the table also adapts to the dining room.
Depending on the table tops, the cost of the pool table may vary. Contemporary pool dining tables with their swivel tops are the most popular. Removable tabletops are usually not that expensive. In both cases, the height or the tabletop is an important factor, you need to make sure that the removable table top does not alter the height significantly.
