Annual motorcycle gatherings are something many motorcycle enthusiasts look forward to attending. It gives them a chance to see what’s new in the motorcycle world, catch up with old friends, and frankly, go on a nice road trip. Knowing when and where can be tricky if you are unfamiliar with out-of-state events. Because surely everyone knows Sturgis. But did you know that there is a Ride For Pride held annually in Wisconsin? Or the Thunder Beach Rally in Florida?

Some of the annual motorcycle shows and events are listed below along with their locations and the approximate time of year they are held.

In California there are:

Ride the Mountains at Big Bear Lake took place on June 7, 2008. It is an annual Ride the Mountain Rally. You can visit the Big Bear Choppers Factory, poker races, and perhaps a country music concert. Of course, there are also exhibits and vendors.

In Florida there are:

Thunder Beach Rally in Panama Beach held on May 1, 2008. This rally is widely known as “The Most Motorcycle Friendly FREE Rally in America.” This rally takes place twice a year, the first weekend in May and the last weekend in September. . You can find five places, each with different sights and sounds. Builders of custom motorcycles, motorcycle clothing and accessories, manufacturers and distributors of parts and entertainment. Each place is located in different parts of the beach, so you can ride your bike from one side to the other on the beach, checking each place together with the vendors and exhibitors.

In Maryland there are:

RAACE 3rd Annual Rally Bel Air held on August 17, 2008 This is an annual rally held to raise awareness of child sexual abuse. Proceeds benefit the RAACE foundation. It’s a 43-mile drive through Maryland’s scenic Hartford County. You will be accompanied by the Harford Sheriff’s Department. There is music, entertainment, food, drinks, and vendors at the beginning and end of the trip. Your rate includes a commemorative pin and t-shirt.

In New Hampshire there are:

Laconia Rally in Laconia held on Saturday June 14, 2008 This is a week-long rally held in Laconia. With a lot for the rally driver. Vendors, music, special events, fireworks, races, and much, much, more.

In New York there are:

Americade Motorcycle Rally in Lake George held on Monday June 2, 2008 This is a rally that is billed as the “World’s Largest Touring Rally”. There is so much to do and see. Featuring over dozens of tours, 3 thrilling poker races, 2 parades, 2 TourExpo trade shows, 14 beautiful boat cruises, 50 seminars, 2 rude and noisy rodeos, parties, over $ 100,000 in prizes, and 14 manufacturers providing rides. demo on the latest bikes and tricycles.

In Ohio there are:

USA Biker Tattoo Classic at the Stark County Fairgrounds held on Friday, September 19, 2008 With 80 acres, there is so much to do here that if you get bored it’s your fault. Myrtle Beach Bike Week in Myrtle Beach held on May 19, 2008 The Myrtle Beach Rally is a week-long rally with a lot to do. There are many many things. Poker tours, dealers, vendors, there is so much to do there that it takes a week and you may not see it all yet.

In South Dakota there are:

Sturgis Black Hills Rally in Sturgis held on August 6, 2008 It’s Sturgis, need I say more?

In Wisconsin there are:

The Pride Walk at Fond du Lac takes place approximately in April. The ride consists of a pre-ride party. The trip consists of a 100-mile scenic motorcycle tour led by the Fond du Lac Police Motor Patrol, stopping at the midpoint and returning to Fond du Lac for a buffet dinner and entertainment.
