Is the Upsy Daisy bed a good gift for your little one?
Are you thinking of buying the Upsy Daisy Bed for your little one this Christmas? This little doll and her friends have undoubtedly become the favorites of children from 0 to 5 years old. Along with her friends Iggle Piggle, Makka Pakka and the Tombliboos, she is a part of the hit TV show In The Night Garden.
In the show Upsy Daisy and her friends live in The Night Garden, a magical garden where everyone lives happily together. The show is bright and colorful and easy for the little ones to follow. Although the characters do not speak, a story is told that explains what the characters are doing. The show is a huge success and rightly so. It was created by Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport, the same people who gave us the Teletubbies and we all know how successful they were.
Unsurprisingly, there are plenty of toys available to buy featuring characters from the show. The two main characters on the show are Upsy Daisy and Iggle Piggle. These are the two that have the most options in the range of toys available.
A very popular choice last Christmas and I’m sure it will be this year is the Upsy Daisy bed. On the show, Upsy Daisy has to chase after her bed, since she causes him all kinds of trouble when she tries to sleep. The toy bed is the same. She presses the button at the end of the bed and it rolls away, meaning Daisy has to chase after it. Press the button again and the bed will play the tune from The Night Garden and gently rock Upsy Daisy to sleep.
The Upsy Daisy bed comes with a soft Daisy doll that closes her eyes when she lies down and a soft blue blanket just like the one in the show. I have to admit when she opens her eyes it’s a little weird but this doesn’t seem to bother my little girl who absolutely loves her Daisy ella doll and takes her everywhere.
The bed is quite heavy but again this doesn’t seem to be a problem eg my daughter just pushes it across the floor on her wheels and if she needs to carry it anywhere that’s what mum’s are for right?
Your girl or boy, Upsy Daisy attracts many children, they will love this toy. It’s well made, I can definitely confirm this as my daughter’s has bounced down the stairs, stood up and usually been handled by multiple kids and is still in one piece. It is very similar to the one in the series so your little one will recognize it instantly and it really is a very good purchase.
Your little one will have a lot of fun and endless fun playing with the Upsy Daisy bed. However, you may find yourself going crazy with the In The Night Garden theme song and resorting to removing the batteries after a couple of days. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!
