I am the Master of Myself!
No other creature can deteriorate, can match the skills, talents and abilities of my being. The Loving God giving me a mind to think about the betterment of my being. He gives the eyes, the hands and the feet to transform all my plans into action.
Yes, I own myself! I am the master of my destiny, I am the master of my destiny and I can excel on this earth!
Yes, I can excel in this land full of hardships, pains, and trials. For my Loving God giving me the power, power to laugh at my fault and error, and power to cry, to release all the pain and sorrows of life.
Yes, I own myself! Because my Loving God gives additional power. Power to get up once more after falling, and power to continue, to persist to conquer the impossible!
Now, I have learned the lesson from the past that self-discipline, preparation, determination, persistence, love of God and love of my fellow men is the truest passport to success. Trials and difficulties make a man strong, failure and mistakes make a man humble, but only the loving God keeps a man going.
So, starting today, I no longer think what others think of me. I no longer doubt or cry. I no longer compare myself to others, but only compare myself to past performance so that I can love and learn to appreciate the uniqueness of my personality.
Yes, I own myself! To keep myself moving and improving, every day, I will motivate myself to read the Bible, other inspirational and motivational books because these are the nutrients and vitamins for my mind and soul.
Yes, I own myself! To keep my spirit alive, I will force myself to think positively. I will spend regular time meditating on the lives of the great men in the annals of history. And I will continue to motivate, nurture my intellect to have faith and believe in myself.
Finally, I will motivate myself to pray and give thanks daily to my beloved Creator. Because He is the source of my strength and energy. Because He is my only treasure and faithful friend. Without Him, I’m meaningless in everything meaningless under the sun!
Starting today, I will speak to Him with these words: Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of life. Thank you for loving me and being patient with me. Thank you for giving me the possibility and the opportunity to plant the seeds of my uniqueness and productivity on this earth. Please continue to guide and use me so that I can help and comfort the lonely and broken doubting soul; to bring them closer to you. Finally, forgive me for all my faults that I committed against you. In the name of Christ, I will pray… Amen.
