HTC Sensation XE and HTC Sensation XL: A look at their key attributes

Shopping Product Reviews

In this article, I’ll take a look at the HTC Sensation XE and the Sensation XL. Both are upgraded versions of the popular HTC Sensation, which was for some time the manufacturer’s flagship Android smartphone.

The HTC Sensation XE and XL have built-in Beats Audio. This increases the sound quality of phones among the best out there. Beats Audio is a great addition to a mobile phone, especially for those who like to play music on their phone. This is further enhanced by the inclusion of a Beats headphone bundle with the phone. Beats Audio earphones are now highly sought after and are quickly replacing the iconic white earphones that come with Apple products, like the earphones you’re seen wearing.

The HTC Sensation XL is noticeably different in appearance from the original Sensation. It is clearly aimed at the style conscious user who also sees their phone as a fashion statement. It is finished in a striking white color scheme with striking red Beats Audio branding located on the rear of the phone. The Sensation XE also has a number of cosmetic improvements over its predecessor; however, these are much more subtle. It maintains the same design and size as the original, with the addition of a red finish to the speaker grill, the camera frame on the back of the phone, the same Beats branding, and even red illumination of the capacitive shortcut keys. Android on the base of the phone. the phone, instead of the standard white.

Another big difference is with the processors. The original Sensation has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, while the XE version has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The XL model comes with a 1GHz single-core processor, making it puts it on a par with the manufacturer’s old flagship, the HTC Desire HD. Although it’s less powerful than the other Sensation models, it’s still powerful enough to run all sorts of applications and produce nice performance from the hardware.

Looking at the differences between these two new versions and their predecessor, it’s clear to see what HTC was trying to do with these devices. The Sensation XE is clearly the Android powerhouse they needed to market as a new flagship, with its processor making it the world’s most powerful smartphone for a brief period. The Sensation XL is clearly aimed at the style-conscious (and probably younger) demographic with its white color scheme and, of course, Beats Audio.

For their respective markets, both the HTC Sensation XE and HTC Sensation XL are well equipped to perform the relevant tasks, while retaining the necessary hardware and software to be versatile on a daily basis. Both are great phones and you’re unlikely to regret your decision, whichever you choose.
