It sounds like common sense, but keep in mind that you are controlling a character that somehow moves like a tank. Strafing, moving, aiming, shooting, and trying to do all of these things at once isn’t easy on a mobile device, and it becomes significantly more difficult when most of the zones have been closed off and you only have the last dozen players left. .
Run away and heal whenever you can. This is pretty good advice at almost any stage of the game, but it becomes absolutely imperative to maintain a lead near the end because it’s not a mere chance but a high probability that there are other players nearby who can hear your firefight. Try to retreat as quickly as possible if you can’t get a quick 1v1 kill, because whoever’s looking at you will have the aiming advantage if they’re standing still (or shooting!).
Stay healed and your energy high. This will help with health regeneration and speed in those desperate fights!
Just use your vehicles at the beginning. They’re not too difficult to handle, and if you’ve landed in some of the outlying areas, you’ll want something to help you navigate when the zones start to close in and you’re stuck in areas with lots of bridges. . Late-game though, the engine noise just isn’t worth the extra speed, especially with a smaller map space to navigate. Be a cunning ninja.
Shoot to kill. While spraying and praying generally works best in mobile firefights, only shoot when needed. Gunshots draw attention to you as much as engine noise, and someone else will want to take advantage of your distraction.
Be careful when you’re looting. Late in the game, moving and looting should be done as sparingly as possible, and only if you’re running low. If you get too greedy and try to loot the body of someone you killed right away, it’s likely that anyone who’s been watching knows exactly where you are and can catch you while you’re distracted.
Only move when necessary. Again, this is specifically for the final game only. Early in the game, you have to explore, loot, customize your weapons, do whatever you have to do. But as the area starts to get smaller, you have to watch the area carefully and move to accommodate that, not just run around looking for a fight. It will get to you soon enough without giving someone else the upper hand! This will also make it easier for you to aim and kill when you don’t have to focus as much on movement for your first few shots.
