Gypsy Wanderlust Coachella Style

The Coachella Music Festival in California is now famous for its incredible lineup of talent, as well as its impressive influence on fashion. The festivals are liberating, known for hippie eccentricities and do not stick to any one style. Anything goes, as long as you’re daring enough!

Bold self-expression, free spirit, gypsy wanderlust, no boundaries, fashion that sings along with the soul. Coachella fashion has become a household name inspiring celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens and Katy Perry. I go every year, like a lot of girls and guys, and I plan my Coachella outfits ahead of time on Pinterest.

Obsessed with quirky and colorful gypsy style, I draw inspiration from bohemian style that is unique and effortlessly chic. My favorite looks for Coachella style inspiration are maxi dresses made from recycled sarees, gorgeous patterned fabrics that are soft to the touch. Strapless with ruched back fit my curves perfectly. I also have a whole line of high skirts that I wear with tank tops, gladiator boots, and chunky bangles.

Coachella is the start of the summer concert season and summer bohemian fun. With stars like Jay Lo and Ariana Grande wearing their stage looks to perfection, the festival is defined by its celebrity status, the outfits are hippie chic, bohemian quirky and ready for Instagram selfies.

Spring festival fashion goers experiment with just about everything, from glam dresses to backless bikinis and distressed denim shorts. The main idea is that you want to stand out as a fashinista with handmade bohemian clothes at Coachella. Cheerful, free-spirited sheer kaftans, fluid maxi dresses in patchwork cotton, their energy is unbridled and playful. The cotton fabric protects your skin from the afternoon sun and keeps you warm when it’s cool at night. Floral embellished maxi kaftans paired with your comfy sandals as you spend long hours on your feet to watch your favorite artists like Ariana Grande.

Anything ranges from long gypsy skirts and stylish high-waisted baggy pants with spaghetti straps and tank tops to sheer caftan dresses or cover-ups with a jeweled bikini underneath. Kimono kaftans are great with boots, styled after an Egyptian princess with lace and embroidery. Cotton robes are comfortable paired with frayed denim shorts and are also potty friendly.

And lastly, the Coachella crown, make your own by hand with beautiful dried flowers and add some flashy jewelry, malas colorful and light in turquoise and amethyst, beautiful, handmade and swaying with you to the beat of country music.
