I’m with All Star Medical and today we want to show you the Golden Technologies Buzzaround XL and the Pride Mobility Go-Go Elite Traveler. Both are their three-wheel versions. They are probably our most popular scooters that we sell and we just want to have them side by side so you can see the difference. We’re Pride fans and Golden Technologies fans, so we don’t really have a preference either way, but we like to show you the different features they offer so you might not be able to go to the store to see these chairs. you can make a good choice online and, you know, order from All Star Medical.

So what I have here, I’m going to start with Buzzaround XL. As you can see, it has a round handle. It flips on both sides, which makes it very easy to turn to one side or the other. Compared to the handle here with the Elite Traveler, it’s just a bar so you can turn in any direction. Again, just to compare the difference, too, the speed trigger is here. And then the speed trigger and reverse are here. You can see the dials and everything is very, very similar. It has a key, a horn, and a speed dial, along with a battery life indicator. Their baskets are virtually identical. I would say the Buzzaround XL has a slightly larger basket. In addition, it has a handle if it suits you. They are removable. You have the ability to charge right here in the Buzzaround and the same goes for the Elite Traveler. You can load right there. They both have charging points on the top which are very useful if you can’t bend down to reach the charger below. That’s probably one of the features Elite Traveler doesn’t have. I really don’t see that as a big problem. From time to time, maybe at night, the light is useful. But other than that, there isn’t much. Your battery boxes, you see, are very similar. I’m going to take them off. A nice feature that these two companies do is that they give you the ability to charge this inside the house without having to carry the battery and the entire chair inside.

So if you’re on vacation or somewhere and have limited space, you just need your charger plus battery box and you can leave the mobility scooter in your vehicle without having to, you know, bring everything if that was necessary. . So kind of a neat little feature there. They both have a top speed of four miles per hour. The Elite’s turning radius is 33 inches, while the Buzzaround XL’s is 37. So about a four-inch difference. Total weight is 76lbs on the Go-Go Elite, compared to 100. The heaviest piece on the Elite is 29.5lbs, which is actually the frame I’ll show you when I break it down. And on the Buzzaround it weighs in at 35 pounds to give you an idea, they’re within six pounds.

You’ll notice that when I sit in this chair, my feet in the Buzzaround XL, I have a little more foot room in the Buzzaround XL compared to the Elite Traveler. Now, that can be good or bad. You know, it just depends if you’re trying to get a slightly tighter scooter. Small spaces, maybe the Elite Traveler is your choice. If you need a little more foot room, maybe the Buzzaround XL is for you. I think the overall length of both is 37 inches on this one, on the Elite Traveler, and 42 on the Buzzaround XL.

Ground clearance is two inches on the Buzzaround…Sorry, on the Elite Traveler. And the Buzzaround XL measures three inches. So, one inch difference. The wheels are very similar in size. The next thing I want to show you is how they break down. The good thing about these two scooters is that they are very portable. You could take them apart and put them in the back seat of a car, in the trunk of the car. And, again, the heaviest piece weighs 29.5 or 35 pounds. So it’s not a big deal to lift that if you can handle that kind of weight. Easy for portability.

So, I’ll show you the Buzzaround XL. I have already removed the battery. You’ll see, just jump. You have a mango here. Jump, just that handle there. You have this rudder that you can adjust if you want it closer or further away, but the nice thing about this is that I can close it, tighten it, take the battery out of it, and both the Elite and the Buzzaround have a little mechanism that locks this. So this is your heaviest piece at 35lbs. So you have your engine and everything you can pick up here. Once again, there are your pieces for the Buzzaround XL.

The same goes for your Elite Traveler. You have a mango here. You can lift this. You can also use the same type of rudder system. You squeeze this, turn this device here, and then I pick it up. And the basket also comes out. As you can see, they break down easily. The next part of the video that we will show you is how it progresses in the field. Just to give you an idea so you can see them in action. That’s the biggest thing I’ve seen from people asking on our YouTube videos: I want to see them on different grounds. And that’s what we’re going to do next, we’re going to show you that on carpet, hardwood, and even take it outside. Kind of showing you how they drive.
