Easy to prepare premium whipped yogurt recipe

Yogurt smoothies are so easy and fun to make. Anyone can quickly make their own yogurt smoothie recipe. The most fun part of making the smoothie is seeing how quickly it creates before your eyes.

You will of course need a good quality blender that can crush ice cubes. To make your own yogurt smoothie recipe, first add a half cup of your favorite unsweetened fruit juice to the blender jar. Then add a half cup of vanilla or plain yogurt and three-quarters of a cup of your favorite fresh frozen fruit. Lastly add five ice cubes and optionally add half a banana and blend until smooth.

Try experimenting with different frozen fruits and juices until you’ve perfected your ideal yogurt smoothie recipe. Also consider good smoothie additives like chocolate syrup, oatmeal or flaxseed meal or even peanut butter. It is important to add the shake ingredients in the order listed above for best blending results. By using a base mix of juice, yogurt, frozen fruit, and ice, you’ll find you’ll always get good results in smoothies. Apple or pineapple juice and frozen blueberries or strawberries are always good to use.

You can change the ingredients to make your own healthy or diet shakes. Try adding ground sunflower seeds and a banana for a healthier yogurt smoothie. For a diet smoothie, use nonfat yogurt, apple juice, and blueberries. Supplements like protein powder or bee pollen are great to add to create your own unique shake recipe.

Banana Blueberry Smoothie for Breakfast

1/4 cup pineapple juice

1/4 cup applesauce

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

1/2 cup fresh blueberries

1 tablespoon flaxseeds

2 tbsp. ground sunflower seeds

1 frozen banana (peeled of course!)


Here’s a cool tip
. Use your ice cube tray to make frozen juice cubes to use in your next yogurt smoothie recipe. And you can also peel a banana and cut it into four or five pieces and place them in a freezer bag and store in the freezer to always have a smoothie ingredient on hand.

Remember to always add the liquid ingredients first, then the yogurt and fruit and any powders or supplements and ice last and you’ll get consistently great shakes.
