Various manufacturers of cordless phones cater to the needs of people who want to purchase different types of cordless phones. Some famous manufacturers are Panasonic, Uniden and Motorola.
Many new features are added and innovations are made to attract customers as the market for cordless phones has shrunk considerably. The digital cordless phone is one such invention and supposedly Motorola is the best company that produces various types of cordless phones. Motorola cordless phones are easy to use and feature a variety of features including integrated digital answering machines, polyphonic ring tones, color displays and Short Message Service (SMS).
Manufacturers from all over the world compete with each other in this market and try to improve their niche in the market by providing innovative features. One of the top countries selling wireless phones is China. Many manufacturers in China export wireless phones to the US and many other countries at very low prices. The growth rate of Chinese wireless phone manufacturers is expected to increase by 15 percent in the coming year.
Uniden is also a well known company for its good quality products and is trustworthy as compared to several other manufacturers in the market. The cordless phones provided by Uniden have superior sound quality and range compared to almost all other manufacturers in this field.
Sony was one of the companies that made cordless phones, but it went out of business because the demand for cell phones far outstripped the market for cordless phones. This created market share for other companies, such as Uniden, which gained a market advantage. With mobile phones displacing the use of regular landlines, cordless phone manufacturers are fighting back by introducing mobile-style features.
Although Panasonic, Philips and Siemens sell cordless phones in the European market, their arrival in the United States has not been announced. Digital answering machines and integrated digital phone books are being added as newer features to incentivize shoppers.
