Can I do that with Kindle too?

Technology

The Kindle is a hardware and software platform developed by Amazon. This lightweight and compact device is an e-book reader or e-book reader that can download, store and read e-books. You can also read blogs, newspapers, and magazines on your Kindle, as well as play audiobooks and other audio files.

Here are five little-known things you can do with your Kindle:

1.Use GPS functions.
Not many people know that by using Google Maps and the EVDP network, your Amazon Kindle can become a GPS unit. You simply need to go to Kindle browser mode and press Alt + 1. Alt +1 will show you your current location, while Alt +2 will show you the closest gas stations to you. Alt +3 will find nearby restaurants and Alt + 5 will do a keyword search.

2. Play Minesweeper. The Amazon Kindle comes with Minesweeper. To play it, you simply need to press Alt + Shift + M. The letters I, K, J, and L help you navigate the screen, while the letter M is used to mark a mine. The space bar opens a cell.

3.Enable clock.
Not many people know that the Kindle has a clock. To view it, go to the Kindle home screen, then press and hold Alt + T. You can also press search and type @time. If you view the time while reading a book, your Kindle will display the time in words.

4. Turn the pages quickly.
If you want to skip pages in your ebook quickly, you don’t need to repeatedly press the Next button. Just hold Alt key and Next or Previous key of this ebook reader to skip 5% of the book at a time.

5. View images.
Not many Kindle owners know that you can view images on this device. To activate a basic image viewer, create a folder labeled “images” in the root of your SD card or Kindle drive. Put your images inside a subfolder. Kindle can open formats like jpg, gif, and png. Go to the home screen of the device and press Alt + Z. Your folder should appear and you can start viewing your images.
