This diet has been around for many years, in part because it really is a practical way to lose a few pounds quickly. It’s not that hard to do. I’ve made it a couple of times and really enjoy eating like this for a few days.
There are many reasons to lose a few pounds quickly. One of the best reasons is to generate excitement about losing weight. You can only lose about a pound a week in the long run. That is very discouraging if you need to lose a little weight. It’s easy to give up on a perfectly good plan that will work because progress is so slow. But lose 10 pounds in a week and you can regain some of your enthusiasm.
The Cabbage Soup Plan doesn’t require you to buy a lot of expensive foods and supplements. They are mostly fairly normal foods that are eaten in a certain order. Cabbage soup can be eaten as many times as you like at any time. Eat as much soup as you want too. Cabbage soup is a filler to keep you full and not hungry. The plan is the following per day.
Cabbage Soup Diet Plan:
Day One: Eat all the fruit you want except bananas.
Day Two: Eat as many fresh, raw, or cooked vegetables as you like. no fruit
Day Three: Today eat all the soup, fruits and vegetables you want.
Day Four: Eat up to eight bananas plus as much skim milk as you want.
Day five: This is the day of meat and tomatoes.
Sixth day: eat all the meat and vegetables you want that day.
Day Seven: Brown rice plus unsweetened fruit and vegetable juices.
You can lose about 10 pounds in 7 days and then you will be off to a great start in losing all the weight you need to lose.
