This version of Android was first seen on the Motorola Xoom tablet which was released in the market in February 2011. 3.1 Honeycomb was the next version released for Android mobiles in May 2011. It was designed with better features that allowed supporting devices Additional input ports, USB host to transfer installations from the camera or devices together with applications such as Google Movies and Books. 3.2 The version for Android Honeycomb mobile phones was the next updated platform released in July 2011.
Added in the new “zoom-to-fill” screen feature and enabled the ability to load media files directly from the SD card. It also had an extended display support API and was first released on Huawei MediaPad which is a tablet phone.
