“Zen Rendezvous is a famous local Cantonese restaurant in Leeds, frequented by many foreigners, and for the people of China, Cantonese food is also the first choice for a lighter stomach, especially congee and soup casseroles. If you want to eat Cantonese food in Leeds, this is definitely the first choice, and I highly recommend the chicken with pepper and salt and the duck with plum sauce. There are many repeat customers as new dishes are introduced every time we visit. The downside of this Leeds student accommodation is probably the drinks, which can be bought for a few quid in the supermarket for ￡20 a bottle. So, just eat the food, which is reasonably priced, and don’t order the wine.

This restaurant is not really a Chinese restaurant, but an Asian restaurant, with Thai food in addition to Chinese. For Chinese food, I recommend the crispy pork ribs, which are really fragrant and crispy, smelling good and tasting crispy and crunchy.
Thai curry and Saigon chicken are recommended. The curry is very authentic, with a very rich flavour, and the chicken is very tender and not greasy. The dishes are generally expensive and many people have complained that they are too expensive after eating them.

This is a restaurant with a mix of Chinese, BBQ and Korean cuisine, but I’d recommend the BBQ buffet, as I’ve been abroad for a long time and really crave BBQ.
Eating a barbecue is a great way to enjoy the process of preparing your own food, with a few friends, while grilling and eating, with a cold beer, especially in summer. But you have to be careful when choosing a student accommodation in Leeds, I never eat barbecue when I go out to eat alone, I am a handicapped party, I always get a paste, or I am still a bit raw and not grilled well, it is always a laugh. Besides, barbecue is the only way to have a good atmosphere when you eat with a large group of people.

This restaurant is located in the middle of nowhere, on the edge of town in Leeds, and I found it by chance with a friend.
The restaurant is more like a Chinese fast food restaurant, specialising in Cantonese cuisine. The food is pre-fried and you can just order it straight away, but of course, you can also order it to-go, but it’s a little more expensive. They also serve Peking duck, but the pancakes are not very good and a bit thick. However, the mabo tofu is good and well seasoned, but the tofu is a bit odd.”
