Islamic prophet warned about ISIS terrorists and Muslim extremism

From Saudi Arabia taking military action in Yemen to the Islamic State terrorist group killing people en masse in Iraq and Syria, these current developments of Muslims fighting other Muslims should be seen as a shame, but not a surprise. Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, warned 1,400 years ago that assassinations would become very common throughout the Earth and Muslims in Iraq would learn the Koran and then drift far away from Islamic teachings.

The global chaos raging in the Middle East and threatening the lands of America, Europe and Australia is something that the Prophet of Islam had guaranteed would happen. While his statements indicate that Muslims, Christians, Jews, and people of other religious traditions would play a role in the escalation of violence, the Prophet of Islam had made clearly worded comments that Muslims would definitely be at the forefront. of the disorder we see. This day.

As human beings, we don’t know what’s inside another person’s heart, but we do know evil when we see it, because we’ve been blessed with the innate ability to discern right from wrong.

The violence that we see in the world, the widespread murders, all of that is a serious transgression that nobody likes but that nobody can stop. Violence begets more violence, and fighting breeds distrust. Everyone claims to be on the so-called Straight Path, but most people clearly do not take the truth into account when making general judgments about others. As such, injustice flourishes and people become more filled with hate and rage.

From the Islamic perspective, Iraq was destined to become a problem, as the following authentic hadith narrative of the early devout Muslims who lived alongside the Prophet of Islam:

Yusair bin Amr had asked Sahl bin Hunaif, “Did you hear Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say anything about Al-Khawarij?” Sahl bin Hunaif said: “I heard him say as he waved his hand towards Iraq: ‘It will appear in it (i.e. iraq) some people will recite the Qur’an but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out (leave) Islam like an arrow through the body of the game.'” — Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 6934

Leaving Islam does not necessarily mean that a Muslim adopts another religion or becomes an atheist. A Muslim can leave Islam simply by committing evil acts, such as murder, rape, and robbery. Allah in the Qur’an advises Muslims not to die except in the state of Islam, which means that Muslims should always behave as doers of good. We don’t know when or where we will die, but we do know that death is inevitable, so when death calls, it would be wise to be whole human beings when that time comes.

Allah is the Arabic word for God, and Muslims believe in an eternal life in the afterlife where Allah will judge people based on the good and bad deeds they have done from the cradle to the grave. In an authentic statement, Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings, had said that the first person to be thrown into Hellfire will be a jihadist Muslim who died on the battlefield.

That Muslim will claim that he died as a martyr in a jihadi mission for the sake of Allah. Allah will call that Muslim a liar and tell him that he only fought in the name of Allah so that people would call him a brave man. Indeed, when that jihadist Muslim died, his allies had boasted that his comrade was a brave man who died for the cause of Allah.

The fighters of the Islamic State terrorist group, ISIS, ISIL have declared a jihad, thinking that it will guarantee them Paradise. The truth of the matter is that those fighters are on shaky ground, and I’m afraid they’re running straight into Hellfire faster than a bull charging a matador waving a red cape.

In Islam, Muslims are required to express appreciation for the Prophet Muhammad, so we ask Allah to honor him and grant him peace. Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, had many enemies in his life who harassed and insulted him with the worst kind of insults imaginable. The Prophet of Islam had practiced patience and had finally forgiven his enemies once he was involved in an armed conflict that ended with the conquest of Mecca.

Fast-forward 1,400 years later, and we see a faction of modern Muslims throw patience out the window and immediately resort to wanton tactics involving killing and maiming as people mock the Prophet of Islam in the 21st century.

The problem is not Islam. Islam is the religion of patience and good conduct. The problem is that there are Muslims who do things that go against the Koran, the holy book of Islam, and against the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings. In terms of the broader problems in the Middle East related to Muslim-fueled bloodshed there, the Prophet of Islam had said that some of the people in his ummah The Muslim community would kill each other or imprison themselves in large numbers.

Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings, made the following revealing statement:

“I begged my Lord that my Ummah (Muslim community) would not be destroyed by famine and He granted it to me. And I begged my Lord that my Ummah (Muslim community) would not be destroyed by drowning (by a flood) and He He granted me this. And I begged my Lord that there would be no bloodshed among the people of my Ummah (Muslim community), but He did not grant it.” — Source: Sahih Muslim 2890a

Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings, did not call himself a sunni Prayed shia; he called himself a Muslim. The Sunni and Shia paths have different interpretations of how the religion of Islam is best practiced, but they are all Muslim nonetheless. Part of the current problem is that some Muslims dress up as extremism and throw big words like avoid Y kufr while declaring themselves the only true Muslims in the world and accusing everyone else of being hypocrites or unbelievers.

No one, especially Muslims, should be surprised by the world we live in today, in which the tradition of killing Cain has become a common practice throughout the world. None of that makes sense anymore, and even that is a sign that human civilization in general is becoming more uncivilized as time goes on. Monitoring hadith The narration, which is well accepted by Muslims, puts it all in perspective:

Abu Huraira reported that Allah’s Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), said: The world will not come to an end until a day comes for the people when the murderer does not know why he has killed. and the dead man would not know why he has been killed. It would be said: Why would it happen? To which he replied: It would be by general massacre and bloodshed. And the butchers and the dead would be in the Fire. — Source: Saheeh Muslim 2908b

Some of the barbarism we see in the form of beheadings is no doubt shocking, but a simple look at Islam’s sources of truth reveals that no one should be surprised that such heinous acts are taking place in our lives.

May the Lord of the Worlds protect us from this savagery that hangs over us. Amen.
