Health Fitness

There are many meal plans for carb cycling, however, not all of them are going to have the foods you like. So maybe it’s time to create your own. Here I will show you what types of foods and why they should be included in your eating plans.

Carb cycling meal plans are best done on a 6 meal a day plan, this way you will have enough food to fuel yourself and keep your metabolism up which is very important on this diet.

There are 3 basic days in the carb cycle diet:

– High carbohydrate day
– Low carb day
– Day without carbohydrates

On the high carb day, you will have 4 meals out of 6 containing as many carbs as you like. Just remember to mix it with some lean proteins like:

– white meat of chicken/turkey
– canned tuna)
– protein shakes with at least 40 – 50 g of protein in them. Remember, you’ll want to get to 1g/1lb of body weight when eating protein. This will help maintain the definition of your muscles.
– curd
– and egg whites.
Those are the best proteins you can consume during your carb diet cycle.

On low carb day, cut carbs down to just 3 limited meals with any carbs. Everyone else will have none, just lots of lean protein and vegetables. Your proteins are very important on this day, as they will be an important part of your diet, so don’t skimp on them.

On the no-carb day, you’ll be consuming no or LITTLE carbs. Most of your carbs will come from the vegetables or protein you’ll eat throughout the day.

As you can see throughout those basic 3 days of the cycle, you need to maintain your protein intake. This is what fuels your muscles, without it, you lose them and your metabolism drops like a rock. Since keeping your metabolism high throughout the diet is the key to making it work, that would mean eating adequate protein intake is the key to everything.

Without adequate protein intake of 1g/1lb of body weight, the carb cycling meal plan will be null and void. Because without it there is no metabolism, because there is no muscle to start it up. So, while following the carb cycling diet, maintain your required protein intake, this way, you really have a chance of reaching your goal of a ripped body.
