A jerky gun is a great easy-to-use tool that makes jerky creation simple. Using one of these tools can save you time and hassle. They eliminate a lot of cleaning because when you’re done, you just drop the gun into the water to soak it. While jerky can be made by hand, we want to show you why it will save you time. I mean, it’s simple enough to spread your own meat, dehydrate it onto trays, and serve, right? This begs the question, do you need a beef jerky gun?

Most people are afraid to use tools like this. However, keep in mind how simple it really is to use something like this. First, mix your meat mixture in a large bowl and add herbs, spices, and whatever else. Most jerky kits come with a ready-to-go mix so that makes actual jerky much easier. Next, load the mixture into the jerky gun and then pull the trigger and instantly pump the jerky to the desired strip length.

After you’ve made the jerky, simply put it in the food dehydrator to dehydrate it. After the jerky becomes tender and dehydrated, you can remove it from the dehydrator and place it on a cooling tray, wax paper, or a baking sheet. Clean the jerky gun and put it away. Now you have fresh homemade jerky that you can nibble on. At this point you can add pepper or any other type of additional spice and go from there. The nice neat strips that the jerky will come out of make it easy to serve to guests, family, or friends.

In closing, I don’t think a jerk gun is a priority, but it can make a nice addition to your kitchen. Since they are so easy to use, my question to you is “why not have one?” It’s not just limited to beef, but you can also make lamb, turkey, pork, and any other kind of jerky you can think of. So this may be the only thing your kitchen was missing.
